This event is for young people and their parents or carers who are making decisions on courses and universities. Particularly relevant for those in Year 12, it will equip you with the knowledge, skills and resources to make confident choices and successful applications.
Why book with us? You will have access to 40 years joint expertise of working in universities and advising young people how to choose and apply for higher education. Our expansive experience working with university departments and courses across the country gives you access to specific knowledge, tips and answers to what questions such as what is TEF, should league tables influence decision making, which courses are flexible on predicted grades, and what really makes a personal statement stand out. You will have time to ask specific questions and leave with an array of resources.
We will cover:
- Choosing a subject: What to consider, how to compare courses and work out what's right for you.
- Choosing a University: How do they differ? What is important? Busting some common myths!
- UCAS Applications: Introducing the UCAS Process, practical tips to navigate it successfully. How to master the new personal statement.
- Includes resources to help you with your next steps.
- Opportunity to ask Becca and Fiona questions and draw on their expertise and knowledge about university choice and applications.
Investment: £45 per ticket for a young person, accompanying adult comes along for free.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
